Configure your own AIO PC

The folks over at AVADirect have announced a new all-in-one computer based on Intel’s Q77 chipset. The AIO has a 21.5-inch full HD resolution LED backlit screen, which also happens to be touch-enabled.

The computer also has internal speakers, and is wall mount ready using a VESA mount. Hardware inside the display includes available Intel Core i3 or i5 processors up to 65 W TDP. The machine can use various 2.5-inch drives (HDDs or SSDs) and has an integrated slim optical disk drive. The mainboard hiding inside the display is a mini ITX unit.

The machine starts at $777.64 and the price rises sharply from there depending on options. The basic configuration uses an Intel Pentium G620 dual core 2.6 GHz processor and 4 GB of RAM. The base system includes a 750GB, 7200RPM HDD, but there are dozens of other storage options including SSDs from Intel, Samsung, Corsair, OCZ, ADATA, Kingston, and Crucial.

Like most other computers from AVADirect, the options appear limitless and buyers can even opt for an integrated Blu-ray drive if desired.

At first glance, not so great price...

I was thinking the price wasn't so great... but I see decent specs, and the touchscreen is a real nice addition.

This is a 21" tablet with a stand and higher end specs. Too bad it will suck at gaming.

Except that it will suck much less at gaming than any other "tablet" on the market. It's all relative.

power supply

I wonder if the power supply is adequate to handle an i5 or i3 with HD4000 graphics
