Tom is currently a full-time student and part-time staff writer for Dailytech. Generally, Tom's writing covers all the places where music, law, and technology intersect, both individually and together. He wrote for DailyTech full-time up until February 2009, but left to focus on a number of data mining and software development projects for sister company Dynamite Data.
What little free time Tom has left is divided up between business endeavors, gaming, teaching himself music, and learning how to rock a party on his pair of beloved turntables (Technics 1210M5G -- the wheels of steel!) Tom is also an Eagle Scout with a rare lifesaving medal, an avid gamer, and derives an almost perverse enjoyment from the pulsing THUMP of a sub-bass sound wave impacting at high velocities. Tom loves subwoofers, basslines, and kick drums like a parent loves their children, and can be occasionally spotted living it up in the SoCal Drum & Bass scene.
