Or you can wait for 2H 2008 when an 8-core Penryn is released, with 2 threads per core.
What would you call a system with 2 of these monsters (beside rediciously expensive)?

Bzzzz wrong. Thats nehalem, the next generation, not penryn, the current generations die shrink.
