Apple seeks FCC approval for Apple Wireless Keyboard using Bluetooth technology

Last week when Apple announced the new iMac computers, they also showed off a couple new keyboards. One of the new Apple keyboards was a thin-wired version connecting to a Mac via USB.

The other more interesting keyboard unveiled with the new iMac, for those who shun wires, was the much tidier looking Apple Wireless Keyboard. While the wired version of the Apple Keyboard shows to ship in three to five days, the wireless version shows that it ships in four to six weeks.

Apple didn’t give any reasons as to why the wireless version was delayed so much, but the answer is the wireless keyboard was awaiting FCC approval. We found the FCC filing today and noticed while Apple requested none of their images be released until August 30; the FCC posted a shot they took of the back of the keyboard where the FCC sticker will reside.

The FCC documents show the keyboard will be 4.2mm thick with a width of 275.92mm and a depth of 108.32mm. A safe bet will be that the keyboard is available for purchase on August 30th.

Thank you for putting me in my place. Without your trolling sarcasm I wouldn't have realized how knotted up my panties were. I am now experiencing improved circulation and heightened arousal. You're the man.

See now thats not so hard is it? You have a gripe with me make a funny yet witty comment like you did. I respect those who can turn what i say into a clever insult, i do not respect those that think their opinion is the only opinion (i.e the person who started this thread).

If the world had only conservative views we would constantly be at war, if we had only liberal views, we would all be a bunch of pansies. I think we have to meet right in the middle to get anything done.

Your responses only help to prove Vanilla's point.

I just do not see what your problem is TomZ, as i have had many intelligent conversations with you over matters we obviously disagree on. Not once have i called you stupid, called you out, or made a stupid comment directed at you because your views are different(before this post of course ;) ). You make your point, based on your opinion, and i make mine in the same fashion.

so once again, if you do not agree with what i have to say, and can only come up with or agree to a bunch of insults directed at me, how does this make you any better than the way i am apparently 'acting'?

Opinions are like assholes. We all have one, and occasionally, you run into a stinky one. Here's to fruitless debating!!

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I just think you overreacted to the OP, to my post, and to the others, that's all. I will concede that some of Vanilla's criticism was a bit over-the-top, and I didn't mean to say that I agree with everything that was said.
