As far as I can tell, they didnt touch anything besides:

Ethernet NRM driver version 5.09 (last was 4.82)
Network management tools version 5.09 (last was 4.88)

The rest has the same version numbers as the last package.
Are we surprised? Of course not.

i was hoping this was going to be for NF4 AMD... wonder if there's any work being done on the non-x16 stuff? 6.70's IDE and NAM issues are getting a bit long in the tooth - getting the feeling they're not going to bother with them.

out of curiousity, does anyone know if NAM works in the NF4 x16 drivers?

You might want to check the forums. I'm sure someone tested it there.

I have no issues with my nF4 board. Will this even be necessary then?

As far as I know... You can install the x16 drivers on a non x16 motherboard and then you will have the cute new NAM firewall!

Will the NAM firewall ever call a truce with an intursive program?

In the mean time, don't fix what ain't broke.

How hard would it have been...

... to put X16 in the title so that non X16 users (you know, the MAJORITY of nForce4 users) wouldn't get excited over nothing.
