Sun's Ultra 40 Opteron Workstation
Sun today announced three new workstations that will range in price from $895 to $3,695

Today Sun Microsystems announced a new line of workstations that will come pre-installed with Solaris 10 -- the Sun Ultra Workstations.  Consumers can look forward to the Sun Ultra 40 Workstation, the enterprise class Sun Ultra 45, and the dual-core Sun Ultra 20 workstation.  Each new workstation will be the first industry systems that ship with bundled grid software with no regular cost.

OOOOOOOooooh... am i the only one who really likes that slotload DVDROM + Plugbay combo drive? That thing is slick! If it only came in black, and wasnt only availble with a Sun workstation... haha.
