PowerColor breathes new life into the aged AGP platforms, Asus readies "G80"

Actually, people are very likely to buy this card. There is still a large market (despite what Marketing has led you to believe) of desktop users that still use AGP based systems.
Do you really think ATI and Nvidia are gonna turn their backs on 60% of the market when there is lots of money to still be made? Why do you think both companies still make AGP cards?
If AGP was really dead, there would be no trace of it left...Yet, both these companies still produce AGP variants.
Unlike enthusiasts, average PC users don't invest in regular upgrades. They use what they have, and if it does the job, they stick to it. They only upgrade or buy a new box if it breaks or can no longer do what they want.
