There were a few reports indicating that Apple could launch its iPhone 8 on September 12.

But now a Chinese tech firm has confirmed on its official webpage that it will be revealing the Mi Mix2 on September 11.  The Xiaomi clearly aiming to take some of Apple’s media attention by launching the Mi Mix2 one day before Apple’s iPhone 8 launch. 


The thing that makes this handset more interesting and attractive is that it sports lesser bezels on the sides and top. This makes the device completely bezel-less as compared to its predecessor.


The Verge reported that, Philippe Starck said he was working on the Mi Mix2 and shared a video named ‘Mi Mix 2 Conceptual Product Design WP’ on his official Facebook page. 



On March it was reported that the device may feature a curved edge display. Also it has been added that the upcoming smartphone will feature 93% screen to body ratio, which is more than the previous model with the following features:


The current model (Mi Mix) with 91.3% screen to body ratio was launched October of 2016.  Mi Mix with dual – SIM support, 6.4 - inch 2040x1080 display, which runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor. Powered by 4400mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 3.0.  Has internal memory of 128GB, 4 GB RAM or 256 GB, 6 GB RAM.  Has primary camera of 16MP, f/2.0 EIS and dual –LED (dual tone) flash,  fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, plus accessories .
