New MP3 players start at $80
Following up on the launch of the 8GB version of its Sansa e200 Series, Sandisk has unveiled its new Sansa c200 Series entry-level MP3 players. The Sansa c200 Series is the follow-up to the Sansa c100 Series MP3 players first introduced in January of this year.
The 1.3” x 3.1” x .6” players weigh just 1.51 ounces with battery and feature a 1.4" color screen, a microSD slot for expansion, an FM tuner/recorder, voice recorder and a user-replaceable battery good for up to 15 hours of playback. Supported audio formats include MP3, WMA and protected WMA DRM.
Sandisk is aggressive with pricing as 1GB Sansa c240 and 2GB Sansa c250 players will retail for $80 and $100 respectively. The Sandisk empire continues to grow…
