Safety Test Proposal for Drone Users in UK

Drones have become cheaper, and available in high street shops, and have been in widespread use in the past few years. This may be the reason for a government consultation on strict new drone safety rules. Anyone who buys a drone in future in UK may have to register it and take a safety test.
 
There could also be tougher penalties for anyone who flies a drone in a no-fly zone.  Even with tough rules and penalties, the government thinks drones have enormous economic potential and are already being used by everyone from emergency services, conversation groups, to energy and transport firms.
 
The Aviation Minister, Ahmad said while, to the great extent most drone users were law–abiding,” some are not aware of the rules or choose to break them putting public safety, privacy, and security at risk”.
 

 
The Civil Aviation Authority said there have been near misses where drones have been flown close to aircraft.

Out going president Barack Obama has banned offshore oil and gas drilling in the “vast majority” of US –owned northern waters. Mr. Obama designated areas in the Arctic and Atlantic oceans as “indefinitely off limits” to future leasing. It could be difficult for President–elect Donald Trump and his supporters to reverse the decision.
 
Huawei may buy Israeli cyber company HexaTier: Report tech news
Huawei the Chinese smartphone maker is negotiating the deal of Israeli start-up HexaTier, the technology secures databases in the cloud, industry sources in the two countries said on Tuesday. The deal may go through soon with an establishment in Israel, was reported.
