New images released of Sony's upcoming console(s)
Sony has released some new images of the its PlayStation 3
which showcase the styling
differences between the 20GB and 60GB versions of the console. For now, the
only differences externally (other than the lack of a HDMI port and media
reader on the lesser model) is the 60GB version's silver trim around the
Blu-ray drive slot and below the four front-mounted USB ports as well as silver
Spider-Man-esque PlayStation 3 lettering on top of the console. The 20GB model
makes do with black trim all around.
Sony's PS3 is due to launch on November 17 with a
price tag of $499 for the baseline version and $599 for the high-end model with
wireless, 60GB hard drive, multi-card reader and HDMI.
