Microsoft wants users to finally leave Windows 7

Back in February, Jacob Miller -- a UI designer who helped designed Windows 8's "Metro UI" -- said that Metro is the
antithesis of a power user
is scheduled for a Spring 2015 release, with a public preview slated for later this year.
Until then, Windows 8.1 Update 2 is expected in the coming months. It's not expected to offer any huge updates other than some UI adjustments.
