Multi-room suite includes a shower, bed, and your own butler
The national airline of the United Arab Emirates has rolled out one of the most impressive ways to fly commercial ever created. The airline is offering a multi-room suite in the sky aimed at the super wealthy passenger who wants to be in ultimate comfort. The suite is called The Residence and has a living room, double bedroom, shower room, and a dedicated and trained butler.
The suite has 125 square feet of space for passengers and is on the forward upper deck of the fleet of new
, and will support single or double occupancy.
A dedicated butler -- trained at the Savoy Butler Academy in London -- is available for the passengers in the suite and will be on call throughout the flight offering. Passengers booking the suite will also get a VIP concierge team handling them from booking to check-in including a limo transfer and custom menu.
The living room has a two seat reclining sofa, dual dining tables, and a mini-bar. Beds are 82-inches long with a custom-made mattress, wardrobe, and under bed storage for luggage.
Other features include Wi-Fi, 32-inch TV in the living room, and a 27-inch TV in the bedroom. Other tech niceties include a
Panasonic eX3 entertainment system
, along with a bevvy of AC, HDMI, and USB ports to power and connect all of your portable or not so portable (how about some
gaming at 40,000 feet?) devices during your trip.
There’s no word on pricing, but with all the amenities it won’t come cheap.
