Pics claim to be of the Galaxy S5
One of the most anticipated launches that is happening at MWC 2014 is the
Galaxy S5 smartphone from Samsung
. Ahead of the official launch of the device, new images have leaked online.
The leaked images show that the smartphone has a physical button on the front. The person who leaked the images also says that the TouchWiz interface on the device is not a major overhaul compared to the previous version.
The photos do confirm a fingerprint scanner, which can be used with PayPal to authorize payments within the browser. Other specs tipped by the leak include a 16MP camera and IP67 dust and water resistance.
The phone will reportedly come with a 1440x2560 display, 32GB or 64GB of storage, and will also be available with two different processors including an Exynos 6 or a Snapdragon 805 according to the source. The phone is also tipped to get a 3.2MP front camera. Power comes from a 3200 mAh internal battery.
Samsung is scheduled to officially launch the Galaxy S5 later today. You can view quite a few more picture of the Galaxy S5 over at

HTC lied about styling the One, its not Unibody. The speaker grills are plastic, glued on, and they fly off when dropped.
They glued some aluminum to the chassis, its not as quality as you think.
The battery is also way too small for a captive phone.
The marketing excuse is old. It can explain SOME things. But the HTC One got plenty of buzz, and it was still a bust. Maybe it just wasn't as great as you biased owners think?
Samsung made a top performing device with the features people want. Its that simple.

The speaker grills are still in place on mine after many drops on tiled flooring, so not sure about this flying off notions.
As to quality or unibody, i'm not fussed how they did it, what they did, the facts are the facts, it's a very well designed phone in terms of construction, something samsung phones are not.
Being an owner does not make me automatically biased. I bought the phone, and it has lived upto its expectations. sure, battery life is not superb, but it lasts me from when i wake up to when i goto bed, i don't personally need anything more than that.
And yes, the marketing excuse is old, but relevant none the less. everyone knows about samsungs products, because you can't miss the advertising, few know of HTC products, because they do not even appear to try and gain public exposure.

Its not Samsung's fault HTC spends money on giving Robert Downey a commercial instead of advertising their actual products.
Drop tests are one reason I stayed away from the One. You've been extremely fortunate. I find it hard to believe you don't have a case on that phone.
Samsung phones not well designed? Nice hyperbole. You think you aren't biased Lol.
