Pics claim to be of the Galaxy S5
One of the most anticipated launches that is happening at MWC 2014 is the
Galaxy S5 smartphone from Samsung
. Ahead of the official launch of the device, new images have leaked online.
The leaked images show that the smartphone has a physical button on the front. The person who leaked the images also says that the TouchWiz interface on the device is not a major overhaul compared to the previous version.
The photos do confirm a fingerprint scanner, which can be used with PayPal to authorize payments within the browser. Other specs tipped by the leak include a 16MP camera and IP67 dust and water resistance.
The phone will reportedly come with a 1440x2560 display, 32GB or 64GB of storage, and will also be available with two different processors including an Exynos 6 or a Snapdragon 805 according to the source. The phone is also tipped to get a 3.2MP front camera. Power comes from a 3200 mAh internal battery.
Samsung is scheduled to officially launch the Galaxy S5 later today. You can view quite a few more picture of the Galaxy S5 over at

RE: Next big thing?

Yet my HTC desire did, and i used neither additional battery or additional storage. I even bought a spare battery and 32gb sd card, used neither. It was a complete non issue when it came around t looking for new phones.
And i do not think anything, HTC did what they did, and i became their customer, samsung did as they did, and they didn't manage to sell me a phone. They can do as they like, people will buy them, but not me. Removable battery and sd card slot really isn't the game changer and vital requirement you think it is. Samsung was sucessful because they marketted the crap out of their product, htc did absolutely nothing. People don't have a clue as to what my phone is, not even the brand. If HTC was doomed because of battery and sd card, how is it that apple are not equally doomed? Because they put money into making people want it, not hoping it will sell itself.

Although removable battery isn't a big thing for me the microSD card is a huge deal. How else do you get 64GB of additional storage for pretty much nothing if you already have it? Pull it out of your old phone and put it in your new phone. Easy. My card is filled with various videos for my niece and nephew and all the pictures and videos I take get stored there. MicroSD is a MUST to have.
