Pics claim to be of the Galaxy S5

One of the most anticipated launches that is happening at MWC 2014 is the Galaxy S5 smartphone from Samsung. Ahead of the official launch of the device, new images have leaked online.

The leaked images show that the smartphone has a physical button on the front. The person who leaked the images also says that the TouchWiz interface on the device is not a major overhaul compared to the previous version.

The photos do confirm a fingerprint scanner, which can be used with PayPal to authorize payments within the browser. Other specs tipped by the leak include a 16MP camera and IP67 dust and water resistance.

The phone will reportedly come with a 1440x2560 display, 32GB or 64GB of storage, and will also be available with two different processors including an Exynos 6 or a Snapdragon 805 according to the source. The phone is also tipped to get a 3.2MP front camera. Power comes from a 3200 mAh internal battery.
Samsung is scheduled to officially launch the Galaxy S5 later today. You can view quite a few more picture of the Galaxy S5 over at TechCrunch.

The specs keep getting better, what big changes could they possibly make? The one area that everyone would love a huge improvement would be in battery life.

Agreed. I still love my s3, only complaint is 1 day battery life with heavy use, 2 days with light use. Would be awesome to double that.

I love Specks, however, this time I am going for LiFeProof case for my Next Galaxy S5. It's Waterproof case, very rugged and protective and slightly more expensive than Specks one, but it's really worth it specially that summer is coming so there will be a lot of beach times
