Pics claim to be of the Galaxy S5

One of the most anticipated launches that is happening at MWC 2014 is the Galaxy S5 smartphone from Samsung. Ahead of the official launch of the device, new images have leaked online.

The leaked images show that the smartphone has a physical button on the front. The person who leaked the images also says that the TouchWiz interface on the device is not a major overhaul compared to the previous version.

The photos do confirm a fingerprint scanner, which can be used with PayPal to authorize payments within the browser. Other specs tipped by the leak include a 16MP camera and IP67 dust and water resistance.

The phone will reportedly come with a 1440x2560 display, 32GB or 64GB of storage, and will also be available with two different processors including an Exynos 6 or a Snapdragon 805 according to the source. The phone is also tipped to get a 3.2MP front camera. Power comes from a 3200 mAh internal battery.
Samsung is scheduled to officially launch the Galaxy S5 later today. You can view quite a few more picture of the Galaxy S5 over at TechCrunch.

Apple has long missed the ball on this spec with the iPhone and iPad. I still can't believe that iPads only comes with 16GB as the base configuration.

Apple wants you to pay for icloud. The basic icloud is free but it cost money to upgrade. I also think it's kind of on the expensive side.

Funk that, I like having local storage for music/movies when I'm not going to be on WiFi.

With that being said, I was able to snag a last generation iPad 4 128GB Wi-Fi for $520 last month (brand new) during an eBay daily deal. That's more like it :)

Why would Apple change when they make billions off selling a few dollars worth of storage upgrades to gullible idiots?

What's even more absurd is they will charge $100 more for that additional 16GB of storage!!! WTF? People pay that? For $100 you can get two 64GB microSD cards!!
