LG G Flex Curved Smartphone Heads to Sprint Later This Month for $300

Sprint has announced that its customers will be among the first to get their hands on the curved screen

. The G Flex will take advantage of the Sprint Spark, which is an enhanced LTE network supporting gaming, VR, and advanced cloud services.
The LG G Flex has a 6-inch HD display, a 2.26GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor paired with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of onboard storage, and a 2.1MP front camera/13MP rear camera. The smartphone has a 3500 mAh battery promising up to 29 hours of talk time per charge.

The smartphone will be available on Friday, January 31 via the internet and over the phone. Starting on February 7, the LG G Flex will be available in Sprint retail stores. The phone can be also pre-ordered right now and those that pre-order will get a free Quickwindow Folio Case ($60 value) with the smartphone.
The device will sell for $299.99 with a new two-year service agreement

It it quite common for the freebie item to be sold for the full retail price, especially when introduced, so I don't think you're being fair. It may actually save someone money if he/she was going to buy both, anyway. You're supposed to do the math before you buy anything. Additionally, the whole point behind these offers is to entice buyers. It's not a criminal offense, and you're free to not buy what's being sold.
I just purchased another flip phone. The salesperson tried to entice me with a smartphone, apps, and mobile browsing. None of which I need, even if I find it appealing. Instead, I picked the flip phone for the long battery life and durability. I'm in the field a lot; I can't afford to miss client calls because of a dead battery or cracked screen. I can watch movies and play games at home. And it turns out, my flip phone has web, email, and a handful of apps.
