5.25" Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 Smartphone Gets Official

Pricing and availability for the new phablet remains a mystery
Samsung has gone official with the latest smartphone in its growing lineup called the Galaxy Grand 2. The device is a follow up to the
original Galaxy Grand
smartphone that debuted about a year ago.
The Galaxy Grand 2 has a slightly larger 5.25-inch LCD (1280x720) with a 16:9 aspect ratio and uses a 1.2GHz quad-core processor. The smartphone has 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The phone supports microSD cards up to 64GB in capacity.
The Galaxy Grand 2 also has a 2600 mAh internal rechargeable battery promising up to 10 hours of video playback and 17 hours of call time per charge. The phone also supports dual SIM cards to switch between networks at will.
Samsung equips the smartphone with an 8MP rear camera with auto focus and a 1.9MP front camera for video conferencing. The phone has integrates Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS + Glonass.
The phone will come in black, pink, and white, however, pricing and availability has yet to be announced.

Yeah, some people just don't get it that phone announcements are not always for the latest & greatest top-of-the-line wunderfones. Not everybody wants the most powerful and best out there (just look at all the iPhone users there are ;) ).
