It seems that an airplane is the only place you can get away from the yammering masses. I would certainly not like to see them allow cell phone calls on a plane, but simply for the lack of peace & quiet.

Maybe they could find a way to allow texting but not calling ;)

Agreed.

If it wasn't enough all the regular noise inside a cabin, it's not like people don't already have conversations in a plane.

There is an easy way, the flight attendant tells you to knock it off.
