It will also allow customers to buy the new iPads with no money down through 24-month payment plans

T-Mobile announced that it will offer competitive tablet plans for both customers and non-customers now that it will sell Apple's latest iPads.

T-Mobile tweeted that it will offer 200MB of free data per month for life. The offer touts no need for commitments or two-year contracts for those who are current customers or not. This will be applied to Apple's new tablets as well as others like the Nexus 7.

To accompany the 200MB offer, T-Mobile is also allowing customers to buy the new iPads with no money down through 24-month payment plans. For instance, a customer can buy the 16GB iPad Air for no money down and pay only $26.25 a month for two years while an iPad Mini with Retina Display would be $22.08 a month for 24 months. The tablets cost $629 and $399 retail respectively.

The iPad Air will make its way to T-Mobile November 1 while the iPad Mini with Retina Display will come later that month.

For those that want more than 200MB, they must sign up for plans like $10 a month plan for 500MB of LTE data, which would be throttled down to the slower speed after. (non-T-Mobile customers can sign up for the same plan for $20 a month); $30 for 2.5GB of data a month; $40 for 4.5GB of data a month, and daily passes including $5 plan for 500MB of 4G LTE data and $10 for 1GB of data.

T-Mobile added that it would accept trade-ins of tablets (cellular connected or Wi-Fi) for a discount on a new tablet.

T-Mobile has been boasting its "Un-carrier" program, which aims to make better offers than the competition. A few weeks ago, T-Mobile unveiled the third phase of its Un-carrier plan (called Un-carrier 3.0) which will offer a free unlimited international text and data plan. This plan is an extension of the home data coverage for most Simple Choice customers, and it will include over 100 countries at no extra fees.

Simple Choice customers will get unlimited data and texting in more than 100 Simple Global countries around the globe, and will pay a flat rate of 20 cents per minute for voice calls in these countries. No need for activation or anything; it comes automatically for those on the Simple Choice plan.

T-Mobile also introduced a $10 Stateside International Talk and Text plan for U.S. customers calling other countries. The plan includes calls for 20 cents (or less, depending on the country) and free unlimited calls to landlines in 70 of those Simple Global countries.

T-Mobile has been pushing aggressive deals all year, starting with the eliminated contracts for reduced cell phone plans in March and an early phone upgrade program in July. However, it did ruffle a few feathers this month when it announced that it'd eliminate grandfathered rate plans

You do realize, you don't have to ONLY use 4G, right? It IS possible to use wifi when you're home or at work.

I don't know how some people use tons of data every month. I have wifi on at home and work, and I barely top 500MB a month under heavy use.

Then again, I don't watch porn or movies away from home on my phone.

Some only use their cell phone for a connection and don't have wifi.
