Nintendo, Sony may have to watch out for incoming iOS controllers

There's no question that smartphones like the iPhone and tablets like the iPad have plenty of horsepower to run beautiful games. Titles like Real Racing 3 and Infinity Blade III clearly showcase what developers are capable of delivering to iOS devices.
 
However, most gamers have thumbed their noses at smartphones and tablets as a "true" gaming platform due to restrictive touchscreen controls. Thanks to Apple's "Made for iPhone" initiative, iOS gamers will now be able to lay their fingers on real buttons and analog sticks to perform "head shots" on enemies or clip an apex in race car around Laguna Seca.
 
Logitech has posted a teaser image on its Facebook page that confirms that it is working on an iOS game controller:

 
GameCase, on the other hand, has gone full throttle ahead by posting a trailer of its upcoming game controller:
 
 

Apple’s iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c will officially launch tomorrow, so we're likely to start hearing more about these controllers shortly.
