32GB Surface RT with touch cover is $249

Microsoft is offering customers who trade in a second generation or newer iPads a $200 credit towards the purchase of a new Surface tablet. However, we just stumbled across an even tastier deal if you're into supporting a rather stagnant ecosystem.
Manufacturer Certified on eBay is selling refurbished Surface RTs at a steep discount. The seller is currently offering the 32GB Surface RT with a black Touch Cover for $249.99 with free shipping. Stepping up to the 64GB model with a black Touch Cover will set you back $279.99.

Both tablets are backed by a one-year Microsoft warranty.
Manufacturer Certified offered a similar deal as a part of the eBay Daily Deals promotion two weeks ago, and they quickly sold out.
While the price is quite tempting, do remember that the second generation of Surface tablets is due out later this month, although it's doubtful that they will be priced this low.

If you think those $350 OEM devices are going to have anywhere near the build quality of the Surface, you're dreaming. When OEMs make cheap devices, they make them *cheap*.

Well, to be honest I'd rather have cheap and app compatibility than have something better made that can't run anything.

Speaking for myself, I don't see any advantage of WinRT over Android, since you've already given up the X86 compatibility, and Android devices tend to cost less.
