Evleaks once again gets the scoop on an unannounced smartphone

Earlier this week, a screenshot of the long rumored 6" Nokia Lumia 1520 smartphone was leaked. The image showed the expanded Windows Phone 8 UI thanks to the extra screen real estate and increased resolution (1080p display).
Today, evleaks posted press shots of the Lumia 1520 showing it from the front and back. The shots also confirm the revised UI.

When the Lumia 1520 launches later this month, it is expected to feature a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and a 20MP rear-facing camera.

Nobody offers 1080p in a 4" phone because nobody can see the difference at that kind of PPI unless the phone is less than a foot from your face. Need more info on the 20MPix camera to know if it makes a difference, but hopefully it's at least 1/2.3".

I'm still skeptical as to what use a Snapdragon 800 will find for most people, particularly since WP is so snappy, but I suppose complex Office docs will open quicker.

I think the reason for it is two fold. One, so people who find the specs important will be happy. Two, for better future proofing. In a year it may be nice for games and, well, games.

You are mistaken here - it is about the pron, always about the pron!

I think a good 720p screen is better than 1080p on anything below 5", as the battery life is better, and the ppi good enough for what most people will do.
