Leaked Bandit screen shot  (Source: evleaks)
Leaked image shows extra columns of tiles on the home screen

A leaked image has turned up on Twitter (courtesy of evleaks) that claims to be a screenshot from the big-screen Nokia “Bandit” smartphone. The screenshot shows a reworked on screen for Windows Phone specifically designed for larger screen devices – in this case, 1080p. The Nokia Bandit is supposed to have a six-inch screen and the expanded Start Screen shows two extra columns for titles.

Previously leaked details suggest that Nokia's new phone could be called the Lumia 1520 when it's officially launched.

Current Windows Phone devices only have enough space for four columns of the smallest tiles. The Starts screen on the 1520 shows six total columns of small files. Other rumored specifications for the Nokia smartphone include a QUALCOMM 800 Snapdragon processor, full HD resolution display, and a 20-megapixel rear camera.
The phone is expected to launch a Nokia press conference to be held in New York on September 26.

This has been a big week for Microsoft and Nokia with Microsoft announcing that it is purchasing Nokia's hardware division and other assets for over $7 billion.

No flash on the camera is a deal killer for me.

That and the 480p resolution. I mean seriously, 480p?

Uh, the camera is listed as "5 MP" (see ) -- that'd be about five times 480P resolution. Even for video, it's capable of 720P.

Are you referring to 480 as in the 800 x 480 resolution of the screen? Do you have know of another Smartphone that sells for $130 *no contract* that does better?

8GB Google Nexus was $199 before they ran out of stock, and it's a better phone in every way.

I think he means the display, not the camera..
From your link:
Display resolution: WVGA (800 x 480)
