They made faillures in the past.
N64 was not a faillure but marked the start of the decline for nintendo.

Wouldn't call gamecube a success either.

The idea behind the Wii-U wasn't bad (still using Wii-mote and Wii-games) but they needed to make it as powerful as the Xbox one, shipped with a standard controler for gamers and have access to the same games the other big 2 will have.
They failled and they won't save this one. Too bad, this is the first nintendo console i will not buy since the NES. I will miss on one Zelda.

Guess i'm gonna stick with my PC and 90% of Xbox/PS4 games that are ported... with better graphics.

Oh but it was. There's a reason I play games on my 60" TV, not a tiny monitor. The idea that I want to split my focus between playing games on my TV and that tiny LCD display on the controller is asinine.
