Updated definitions now includes sample sentences and more
I bet most of you know that when you run across a word you're not familiar, you can type it into the Google search bar and it will give you a definition. Google noted this week that it has updated search on both desktop and mobile with new and improved definitions. The updated search now gives users sample sentences, synonyms, translations, and more.
Word can be translated into over 60 different languages, and Google even provides a handy graph that shows how popular the word has been used over the years.
Google also updated the search system with spoken responses when tapping the microphone icon in the definition. Google said, "If you tap the microphone on your Google Search app, you’ll hear answers spoken back when you ask questions like “What’s the definition of fortuitous?” and “What are synonyms for fortuitous?”
The updated definitions are currently only available on mobile and desktop for users in the U.S. The update is expected to roll out to users around the world over the next year.

You found the fact that Google provides slightly better word definitions exciting? I guess a trip to the library is easily a great alternative to a party for you then.
