LG shows off new high-end smartphone

LG Electronics has unveiled a new flagship smartphone called the G2. The design of the G2 places all of the buttons on the rear of the device -- the Rear Key concept springs from LG designers recognizing that the larger phones became, the more difficult it was to access side keys. LG moved the main buttons to the back of the phone and located them where the user's index finger naturally rests.

The LG G2 features a 5.2-inch full HD resolution display. The phone also features a very thin bezel on the side that's only 2.65 mm thick. The phone comes equipped with a blazing Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor operating at 2.26 GHz. Feeding that hungry beast is a 3000 mAh internal battery promising more than a full days use per charge.

The G2 also has a 13-megapixel camera on the rear featuring optical image stabilization technology. The G2 is also the first smartphone on the market to utilize 24 bit/192kHz Hi-Fi playback of also to of audio content offering sound superior to CD-quality.

The G2 can be had in 16GB or 32GB storage capacities, and runs the Android 4.2.2 operating system. Unfortunately, the G2 doesn’t include a microSD slot, so you’re out of luck if you want to expand storage beyond what’s available from the factory.

The LG G2 will roll out over the next eight weeks over 130 wireless carriers in South Korea, North America, Europe, and other world markets.

Yes, OK, the world is irrelevant, and the US is relevant.

You're dumb, yes. But this stupid?

No, your assertion is irrelevant numbnuts. I repeat... With every comment you misunderstand the comment and then assume and insult. Then you persist with your false conclusions and when people give up trying to talk to you, you claim victory saying your points are proven and cant be refuted. Wrong... You are just too hard headed and obnoxious to see it and arguing with a troll like you is pointless.

My 'assertion' was that YOUR claim that Apple lost out the number one spot in satisfaction rates is factually incorrect, because worldwide they didn't.

You're prioritising a single country over the world, which is ridiculous.

To be absolutely clear - the leader of satisfaction rates worldwide is APPLE. Not Samsung.

"You're prioritising a single country over the world, which is ridiculous."

To take a page out of your book of context, the US is where the bulk of Apples sales are and where Apples sales are comparable to the Android competition. Worldwide Apple is week.

Since I have already engaged you once again, I should also point out that I put up today's Android phones against the upcoming iPhone 5S, not the "11 month old" 5. We already know what we will see with this. It is the same size, same screen, same res but faster. It will probably have a few other improvements as well, fingerprint reader being most highest touted. A nice feature for the security conscious, but that has been around a long time and done before on phones years ago. Not exactly groundbreaking.

OK, rant away.

For me, citing 'better tech' and satisfaction ratings and 'features' as arguments against an unreleased device is even more illogical. Sorry.

1 - The bulk of Apples sales do not happen in the US. Far less than 50%.

2 - You say 'worldwide Apple is week' - I assume you meant 'weak' - however 'Worldwide' includes America. So it's all the data for America, combined with all of the data for everywhere else. And if you take everyone into account - customers are more satisfied with their iPhones than Galaxy phones.
