HTC One Mini will launch in August
The One has been very successful for HTC and is currently available in 181 countries and on over 583 mobile networks around the world. One of the few complaints about the HTC One is that the device is too large to fit comfortably into a pocket and HTC has answered that complaint with the new One Mini.
1.4GHz Snapdragon 400 Processor
1GB system RAM
4.3" 720p display
802.11n, Bluetooth 4.0, and an LTE radio
1800 mAh battery
4MP rear camera and a 2MP front-facing camera
The HTC one measures 132 x 63.2 x 9.25 mm and weighs 4.3 ounces.
"We are proud to be behind the market's leading smartphone and now, with the addition of the HTC One mini, the best smartphone family in the world," said Peter Chou, CEO of HTC Corporation. "The HTC One mini embodies everything that makes the HTC One a success on a smaller but equally eye-catching scale."
The HTC One Mini is available in glacial silver or stealth black colors. Like its slightly bigger brother, the body of the phone is made from aluminum and the device has a slim profile with tapered edges. HTC’s BoomSound feature gives the device dual front stereo speakers with a dedicated amplifier for improved sound quality. The phone also has integrated Beats Audio technology.
The device will launch in select markets in August, confirming previous
, and will begin a global rollout in September with pricing unannounced.

RE: In what universe...

You are using history to prove your point in an industry that is changing fast.
The correct metric would be of all (non-iphones)that are for sale now, this is a mini device. Go into any cell phone store and look through the smart phones for sale, this will definitely be one of the smallest. This is right there with the S3 mini as well.

It's supposed to be the mini-flagship or premium model. Get it?
