The base price for the Surface RT 32 GB tablet after the price cut will be $349.99.

The Surface RT with 64 GB of storage will sell for $449.99. Users wanting the Surface RT with the slick Touch Cover featuring an integrated keyboard will have to cough up $449.99 for a 32 GB version or $549.99 for the 64 GB version.

They probably stay there forever because only Android supports everything (Intel, ARM, MIPS Socs) while Windows RT only Qualcomm SoCs.

Windows Phone and Windows RT should run on any ARM device. WP8 currently only uses Qualcomm, likely due to a feature set they want. Windows RT, on the other hand, already runs on a variety of devices. The surface runs on an Nvidia Tegra 3, for example.
