Grand Theft Auto V to ship with two discs

Grand Theft Auto V is one of the most highly anticipated games of the year, and the folks over at Rockstar Games have been answering fan questions about the game. One question in particular that was asked was with regards to how many discs will be required to play the game.
According to Rockstar, the game will come on two discs; the first disc will be used to install the game onto your Xbox 360 or PS3. The second disc will be used to actually play the game.

With regards to how much space the game install will take up, Rockstar states:
This initial install will require an Xbox 360 Hard Drive or an external 16GB USB flash drive with at least 8 GB of free space. If using a USB flash drive it must be at least USB 2.0 with a minimum 15mb/s read speed and formatted for Xbox 360 use. A new USB flash drive is recommended to ensure optimum performance.  For PlayStation 3, the game ships on one disc and will install content as soon as you insert the game. The install is roughly 8GB, and players will be able to play as soon as the install is complete.
So for those of you our there are playing on an Xbox 360 with only 4GB of internal storage, you're going to need to pick up a USB stick or an external hard drive in order to play Grand Theft Auto V.
The official release date for Grand Theft Auto V is September 17.

Honestly, it's a non-issue for most console gamers because anyone who's a serious console gamer can find 8GB on their console to install the biggest game of the year. I don't think too many core gamers bought 360s without hard drives (All PS3s are fine). The USB option can fill in the difference and everyone will be happy.

I'm guess we're not getting a Windows version so I guess I'm going to have to dust off the 360 for this one.

How does the delivery mechanism have anything to do with this? Even if you get it on disc or via the web the install is still the same.

But I agree, first world problems.

A downloaded copy of the game would not need the 8gb install.
