Samsung's latest tablets get priced

Samsung officially announced its new Galaxy Tab 3 series earlier this month with tablets ranging in size from 7" to 10.1". Today, the South Korean company has announced pricing for the tablets.
The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 will be priced at $199. This device features a meager 1024x600 display, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 8GB of internal storage.
The $299 Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 slightly ups the ante with a 1280x800 display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor (1.5GM of system RAM) and 16GB of storage.
The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 forgoes the ARM-based processors in its smaller brother and instead adopts a 1.6GHz dual-core Intel Z2560 processor (and just 1GB of system RAM). Despite the larger screen size, the 10.1" model is still saddled with a 1280x800 display.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 in "Gold Brown"
Each tablet in the Galaxy Tab 3 series comes with a microSD slot for storage expansion, a built-in IR blaster which turns the devices into universal remotes, support for Samsung's WatchON TV recommendation service, and will be available in white or "Gold Brown". The two larger models come equipped with Android 4.2 while the smallest member of the family makes do with Android 4.1.
Pre-orders for the devices begin tomorrow, with nationwide availability in store like Newegg, Frys, Best Buy, Amazon, and Walmart starting on July 7.

hahaha! I got a Nook HD+ also.... I'm just gonna to stock android (boots off of SD-card) once i get around to it.
NOTE: the screen is actually 1920x1196 according to Elixer 2 & CPU-z

I don't have issues with memory.... i frequently have 7-8 tabs open without needs to refresh....

The touch is pretty bad.... also considering the "regular price" is 270 I don't see what it does not have a camera... Of course it is a HORRIBLE tablet for 270 (unless all you do is watch movies)

Ya, but the Nook HD+ is not $270. Its been $170 for over a month and is currently on sale for $149. Also, the screen is 1920x1280. Some apps show lower as some parts of the screen are dedicated to menu.

I believe in this case the missing pixels is for the navigation buttons.
