9000 mAh Fuel+ Battery
Patriot offers batteries with multiple capacities to meet mobile power needs
Patriot Memory is best known for
and memory components. However, the company recently announced a new addition to its product portfolio called the Fuel+ mobile battery. These are portable batteries designed specifically to keep your gadgets charged up and working when you're away from an outlet. There are seven products in the new Fuel+ Mobile Battery range.
The smallest of the battery packs is the Fuel+ 1500 mAh unit that has an integrated Lighting connector making it specifically designed to work with the iPhone 5, iPad mini,
fifth-generation iPod Touch
, and the seventh generation iPod nano.
If you use a smartphone or tablet that doesn't have that Apple Lightning connector, Patriot also offers the Fuel+ 2200 mAh and 3000 mAh batteries.
There are larger batteries for those needing even more power. The three biggest capacities that Patriot offers are Fuel+ 5200, 6000, 7800, and 9000 mAh battery packs with two integrated USB ports each. One of those USB ports offers 2.5 A of power for power hungry tablets.
All of the batteries will be available in the middle of June and will feature a two-year warranty. Pricing for the batteries is unannounced at this time.

The largest capacity one Patriot is planning to sell is 9000mAh. Problem is, that capacity is merely mid-range these days. A simple search on Amazon shows a lot of choices from various OEM-'brands', and the most common is around 10000mAh for ~$60-80. Meanwhile, the high-end is around 18000mAh, not including those with 12V+ outputs for laptops.
The price premium attached to the Patriot brand is only going to work against them here, I'm afraid.
