"Senseless" HTC One will soon be upon us

We reported last week that HTC was considering releasing a version of its “One” flagship smartphone without the Sense UI. The HTC One has won considerable praise for its stylish looks and relatively lightweight aluminum body, but the ever-present Sense UI has always been a sore point with HTC phones.

Well fear no more. Starting June 26, the HTC One with the full "Nexus user experience" will be available to purchase from the Google Play Store. The 32GB device (AT&T/T-Mobile compliant) will retail for $599 and comes equipped with Android 4.2.2.

The Samsung Galaxy S IV with the “Nexus user experience” will join the HTC One on the same day on the Google Play Store, however, that plastic-bodied smartphone will be priced at $649.

Agreed,
My two week old One has yet to be rebooted and is giving me almost 48 hours between charges. Blinkfeed is not my home screen, but I still use it quite a bit for catching up on the news.
While it might be nice to have an AOSP version, I'm happy with what I have and I dont see the Nexus version available for use with Sprint or available in black.
