The design will be available for desktop and mobile platforms in the coming weeks
Facebook is giving the News Feed a complete redesign in the coming weeks, allowing users to see exactly what they want to see.
The News Feed redesign focuses on categorizing information and allowing users to see what's most important to them. For instance, if someone wants to see posts that are only music-related, there's a filter for that.
The new look will have four filters: All Friends, which is a feed that shows everything that friends are sharing; Photos, which is a feed with nothing except photos posted; Music, which is a feed more music-related posts only, and Following, which is a feed that shows posts from people you follow and pages you like.
The design will be available for desktop and mobile platforms in the coming weeks. As far as mobile goes, the iPhone and iPad will receive the facelift before Android devices.
