The design will be available for desktop and mobile platforms in the coming weeks
Facebook is giving the News Feed a
in the coming weeks, allowing users to see exactly what they want to see.
The News Feed redesign focuses on categorizing information and allowing users to see what's most important to them. For instance, if someone wants to see posts that are only music-related, there's a filter for that.
The new look will have four filters: All Friends, which is a feed that shows everything that friends are sharing; Photos, which is a feed with nothing except photos posted; Music, which is a feed more music-related posts only, and Following, which is a feed that shows posts from people you follow and pages you like.
The design will be available for desktop and mobile platforms in the coming weeks. As far as mobile goes, the iPhone and iPad will receive the facelift before Android devices.

Trucks aside, your pretty much right. I dont know if you have spent very much time around american trucks, but they havent gotten any bigger... Same with cars.
The reason being, cars got a bit smaller during the last oil crisis a few decades ago and have since returned to their former size. Just put a 76 chevy next to a 2012 chevy, aint a huge difference.
You could say the new trucks have gotten "fatter", since the bodies are taller(they actually just come down farther) and imho a bit uglier and less useful due to less ground clearance.
As far as food though, I think I would agree, same with the 23ish year old kids today. Sadly, I am in that age group. Though I definitely do not fit that stereo type.

I forgot to mention, Toyota is actually the company who has fallen victim to the "make it bigger" mentality. My dad used to have a '86 Toyota pickup, tiny little thing and fun to drive. Nowadays, even the Tacoma is bigger than a Ford Ranger, with which it kind of used to compete. They are actually about the size of the original Tundra/T100. And Tundras, are now the same size as "full-size" American pick-ups.
