More HTC One (M7) rumors surface
If you are a fan of HTC smartphones, some details on one of the company's coming devices known as the HTC One (or
) have now surfaced.
The HTC One is expected to land in Europe on March 8 with a price tag of €649.99. Another source indicated that the HTC One will launch on March 22 in the United States. The source says that the device will launch on AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint wireless networks with 32GB of storage for $199 with a 2-year contract. A version of the device with 64 GB of storage will reportedly be offered for $299.99.
The source of the leak has also tipped that the smartphone will have a metal casing with front facing stereo speakers. Colors are said to include black and a silver/white version.

Why are all new phones still aping iPhone
2/16/2013 7:33:43 PM
This and the new BB Z10 seem to have aped the iPhone 5 design a little too closely for comfort. The design has the panel at the top and bottom in a different finish to the rest of the back and a metal surround with a polished chamfered edge-rim. Whilst I agree that Apple shouldn't be able to 'patent the rectangle', but the design of the iPhone 5 is very distinctive (on the back) and this is just crying out for a lawsuit. It makes me laugh where people say "Well how else/how many ways can you design a touchscreen phone?" because Apple did design it differently for the 5's back, it looks very different to the 4/4S, and this design language too is now being stolen and knocked off already by two multi-national companies. For shame HTC...
