More HTC One (M7) rumors surface

If you are a fan of HTC smartphones, some details on one of the company's coming devices known as the HTC One (or HTC M7) have now surfaced.

The HTC One is expected to land in Europe on March 8 with a price tag of €649.99. Another source indicated that the HTC One will launch on March 22 in the United States. The source says that the device will launch on AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint wireless networks with 32GB of storage for $199 with a 2-year contract. A version of the device with 64 GB of storage will reportedly be offered for $299.99.
The source of the leak has also tipped that the smartphone will have a metal casing with front facing stereo speakers. Colors are said to include black and a silver/white version.

Dock looks like Android, but the different sized Facebook photos make it look like Windows live tiles.

Anywho, My only 2 problems with my One S, are no expandable storage (I'd be ok with this if they gave me an option to buy 32GB) and slow updates. It's the 2nd month of 2013 and I still haven't seen Jelly Bean.

WTF Google Now is so useful on my Nexus 10, it would have been great to have on my phone during vacation.

Hurry the F up HTC and Tmobile.

If you want updates you basically have two guaranteed options, buy a nexus phone, or install custom roms. If you depend on companies like HTC and verizon to give you the updates you wait a long long time.

4.2.2 is already posted on XDA for my galaxy nexus.

Yeah, I don't have time to tinker and worry about bugs that haven't been hashed out by the dev community. I have no interest in rooting.

I would have gotten the Nexus 4 if it came out in April of last year. Instead I got the One S. The camera on it is one of the best I've seen on a phone. Don't have any first hand experience on the N4. Also didn't realize until today that JB included panoramic pictures. I'm glad HTC included it in their ICS build.

I'd never buy an Android phone from Verizon not even a GNex considering all the crap they replaced on a supposedly pure Google experience.

I have a Verizon phone. What crap? If you don't like something, you can easily disable it without rooting anyway.

Off the top of my head, Verizon did not release Android updates as soon as they were available even though it was an Nexus branded device.

They also blocked Google Wallet in favor of their own NFC payment app. The wifi hotspot feature was also stonewalled so that you have to pay another fee just to hotspot off the data plan you already paid for.

Disabling is not the same as removing. Sure they might not be active, but with a fixed storage amount on all Nexus devices, some people might run out of room faster than others.

If they release an update to the N4 with 32GB of storage as an option, I'd be all over it. As of now, I'm waiting for word on when JB hits my phone.

I wouldn't know, first thing I do when I get a phone is root it and put on a custom rom.
