RIM gets ready for launch BlackBerry 10
RIM has been selling apps to BlackBerry smartphone users for long time now via its BlackBerry App World. The company has announced that as part of the preparations for the launch of
it has changed the name of BlackBerry App World to BlackBerry World. RIM says that the name change reflects a shift in the type of things that you can purchase from the store.
RIM says that BlackBerry World will have more than just apps for users to purchase -- the new store will also be home to purchasable videos and music. The new name reflects the fact that RIM wants BlackBerry World to be a one-stop shop for the entertainment needs of BlackBerry smartphone and tablet users.
BlackBerry World will support the ability to browse, download, buy, and manage apps via BlackBerry smartphones, the
, and computers. BlackBerry World will allow users to share their favorite content via BlackBerry messenger, Facebook, and Twitter.
BlackBerry World also supports sharing by tapping NFC embedded BlackBerry smartphones together.

Hello, we are RIM.
Despite fluffy hype, we're having a lot of trouble getting support for our much-delayed soon to be released, almost up to par platform!
So we decided to try to gloss over that fact by....supporting it ourselves!!! Can't access popular services? It's OK, you can buy this stuff at BW world now!!!
We can do this, because we aren't stretched thin at all! We didn't fire thousands of people, and we are WAY ahead of schedule. We still haven't gotten some app tools out to our developers, and we haven't said a thing about we'll do with our orphaned disaster of a tablet...which sometimes sells for as little as 49$!!! (at a boxing day sale in Canada)
There are a lot of things we can't tell you...but ooooh..if you only knew. This alone is proof: we've dropped a word from the name. That shows you just how far ahead we are right there! Unlike when we announced our OS name to be BBX....only to retract it immediately due to copyright infringement...THIS time, we googled the name once before announcing it!
If you too have an irrational hatred of Apple or Android, and if you have never used a smartphone from the last 5 years, you will be AMAZED at our new phones. We now use TOUCHSCREEN technology WITH a icon based OS that has a full web browser AND SWIPING. Oh sure....you used to complain day and night that touchscreens weren't for you and thus BB was the way to go, but now, embrace touchscreens, because we have one!!
Join the 3rd world! BB10 forever!!!!
