They're expected to be at different price levels for everyone

As Research In Motion (RIM) prepares to release its new BlackBerry 10 (BB10) software, reports suggest that the company plans to offer a variety of BB10 devices that will cover a broad price range in order to attract customers.

Throughout 2013, RIM plans to release a total of six BB10 devices. These smartphones will range from low-end to high-end prices so that they'll draw in customers of any budget.

RIM will release BB10 at an event on January 30, where its first two devices will be announced. One device will be all-touch while the other will have a QWERTY keyboard.

"We intend over time as we transition the portfolio to have a full range of devices," said Frank Boulben, RIM CMO.

RIM added that it doesn't have any exclusive relationships with carriers in the U.S., meaning that it has more flexibility and can attract more customers.

BB10 will feature a new user interface, BlackBerry Hub for combined inboxes/messages/notifications, BlackBerry Peek for switching between multiple apps without closing them and BlackBerry Flow for scrolling between apps.

they really dont compare well against the latest round of 5 inch 1080p Android phones
yep they don't compare, 'cause their 720p screens look the same as these 1080p abominations to the naked eye without a microscope, while consuming way less battery juice. you don't even know the basics of smartphone tech, no wonder you troll with your wet dreams about "RIM looking for buyers" instead of with solid technical arguments.

so does WP8 and no-one is buying it
sales of WP8 handsets are 5x up compared to sales of WP7 ones during the Christmas holidays a year ago, but don't stop lying illiterate troll :)))

mmmmmmmkay. You sound like a 12 year old arguing with someone way above their own IQ level. Whatever. Lets wait for real reviews and see.

I hope so. It's deserved. Do you have some market share #'s that show it gaining?

"don't stop lying illiterate troll"

Seriously? Let's forget for a moment that real sales #'s are posted on the internet and available to all... Why in the hell would anyone lie about something like that? What would they have to gain. FFS, your nucking futs man.

illiterate trolls like you wait for stupid "reviews", smarter users like me just look at Galaxy Note to understand what kind of moronic waste a 1080p screen on a phone is. you keep waiting forever for your stupid reviews, troll. me, after my practical experience with 5" 800p screen? huh, I don't need. I'll observe your stupid "waiting" from the sides, thank you :P

its gains are masked by the declining windows mobile share so no, not yet. it's only MS and Nokia's words about much better sales of WP8 compared to WP7. given the ugly limitations of WP7 fixed in WP8 this is no surprise at all

Amazing... Pirks misunderstands everything said, then goes on a rant. I was referring to the actual battery life for reviews. I agree for most things 720 is plenty for a 5 inch screen, however I log in to servers from my phone quite alot to fix quicky issues on the go, and I need more res to make it so I dot have to scroll up and down to see every window I open. You wouldnt understand.

"its gains are masked by the declining windows mobile share"
OK, but my point with that is MS isnt doing too well in the mobile sector.

I wouldn't understand your lies about being able to see tiny fonts in such a huge DPI. Can't understand why you're lying to me about being able to see anything in terminal window with such a huge DPI.

True but my point is that their situation is slowly improving with each release of WP. You can't keep trolling about WP8 being bought by no one, this is not gonna work anymore. Except on a few real dumb individuals like your cheesy buddy here.

Lies? Whatever man... high res isnt the only good thing about todays latest phones. At the 5 inch range it is overkill for most things, but that is better than underkill. And for remote desktop, lgging into servers, yes iut does help immensely even at that size. I do need to zoom in to read text, but I am not logging in to a server when I am out to read. I am logging in to fix an issue, reboot a problematic server or start up a VM or some other task. 1280x720 is a pain in the ass. Its not a lie, that is how I use you you nut.

Dood, the sales #'s are out there, publicly available. They are what they are, talking about it isnt trolling. I want it to be higher, its not like I am rooting against it.
