Backlit gaming keyboard has mechanical switches and more
Rosewill is on hand at CES this year and the company has debuted a couple new computer peripherals including an interesting LED backlit mechanical gaming keyboard.
The keyboard is the Helios RK-9200 Dual LED Backlit Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with Cherry MX switches. This is an incredibly long name for what is basically a backlit keyboard that features mechanical switches. The keyboard is available in blue, red, brown, and black. The keyboard supports red or green backlighting using LEDs and you can make the WASD keys a different color so they stand out. The backlit keyboard has five different global brightness modes. Pricing and availability for the keyboard is unknown.
Rosewill also has the new gaming computer chassis called the THRONE. This computer case comes in black or white, and has a very angular design intended to give an aggressive appearance. The THRONE has red LEDs in the front for the black version, and the white version has blue LED lighting in the front. It has three external 5.25-inch drive bays and a mesh side panel for improved cooling.
The case appears to be tool free on the inside and looks as if it would support some of the larger video cards on the market. Rosewill is also showing off a new line of 802.11n wireless routers and accessories including USB network adapters and more. The company also has new server products including five and eight bay RAID enclosures the use USB 3.0 connectivity.

"Paying an extra $500 for a computer in this environment -- same piece of hardware -- paying $500 more to get a logo on it? I think that's a more challenging proposition for the average person than it used to be." -- Steve Ballmer
