CES 2013: ZOTAC Unveils Third-Generation ZBOX Mini PC at CES

New ZBOX gets better graphics and more power
ZOTAC has taken the opportunity to unveil its third-generation
ZBOX mini PC
at CES 2013 today. The new third-generation machine uses an Intel Core processor combined with new NVIDIA GeForce GT 610 graphics. The machine is designed to be the ultimate home theater mini PC promising outstanding video streaming and the ability to play popular games.
The new generation machine has a revised chassis that offers dual gigabit Ethernet ports with teaming capability and dual external Wi-Fi antenna is for improved wireless networking and Bluetooth reception. The processor is a dual core unit and the NVIDIA GeForce GT 610 GPU allows for hardware decode acceleration of high-definition video formats including 3-D Blu-ray and others. The machine also promises enough power to decode 10-bit video formats such as Hi10P without dropping frames.
Other hardware details include 4 GB of RAM, 500 GB of storage, integrated DVI and HDMI outputs, high amperage USB charging ports, and a bundled MCE-compatible remote with a USB IR receiver.
Pricing and availability for the machine are unknown at this time.

I'd even say that this is the perfect system for OpenELEC (it's XBMC pre-configured to be specifically made for these systems).

I use an older zbox with openelec. although I had to do some extra configuration to get the hdmi audio working, playback is great over ethernet.
