Users report issues across a wide range of vehicles

Windows Phone 8, Microsoft Corp.'s (MSFT) latest and greates mobile operating system launched last month.  In the last couple weeks as the first devices have become available there have been growing reports of serious bugs.

The latest issues reported have been problems with the phone's Bluetooth connectivity.  According to seven pages of user complaints on Microsoft Answers, the new phones are failing to connect across a wide range of makes and models from various automakers.  Calls over Bluetooth have also been getting dropped or put on hold.

Some users report having successfully used Windows Phone 7.5 devices with their vehicles for months, only to lose support when they upgraded.

So far there's been no word from Microsoft on when a fix may arrive.

In our last piece on Windows Phone 8 bugs, some commenters took issue with our reporting on the problems, arguing they weren't widespread.  DamianRobertJones comments:

I call 'rubbish' on this article.

There are issues, sure, but as far as I can see/am aware it's not serious... yet

And Varun responds:

I agree 100% and this thread seems to point to some very happy people:http://forums.wpcentral.com/nokia-lumia-920/202431...

Let us know what you think -- should we not cover these issues?  Do you consider them a serious problem?  Would it be unfair to cover the iPhone 5's broken mapsbattery life/wallet-draining data bug, and photograph discoloration, but not report on Windows Phone 8 bugs?  Or does Microsoft deserve some slack since it's still trying to emerge as a serious competitor?

Have you been affected? Let us know your thoughts, we're listening.

I guarantee this is happening, as I traverse across multiple news sites (100+ on a daily basis using Pulse), and read similar comments in defense of Microsoft on all the most popular sites. The verge is infested with these people who defend surface and windows 8 well in advance of its actual release not having even used these devices, with calls not to post any negative articles or news... Total bullshit, please report on any tech related issues from any tech company and ignore the paid MS Internet Response Team...

Wait wait, so you're saying they defend some product before it has even released?

In that case what are they defending it from?

Oh that's right. People attacking it before it has even released...but those guys are fair and balanced, huh?
