Q190 is the world's smallest full-function desktop PC
Lenovo has pulled the covers off what it claims to be the world's smallest full function desktop PC, measuring in at only 22 mm wide. Despite its small stature, the IdeaCentre Q190 has all the multimedia features you need for a quality HTPC machine in the living room according to Lenovo.
The IdeaCentre Q190 has full HD resolution graphics, supports up to 7.1 surround sound, and can be fitted with an optional Blu-ray drive that supports 3D Blu-ray playback. The machine runs Windows 8 Professional and can be purchased with an optional wireless multimedia remote that has a built-in mini backlit keyboard and mouse. That accessory is designed to allow users to control the Q190 from the couch across the room.
The IdeaCentre Q190 will be available in January starting at $349.
Lenovo also unveiled a new C Series AIO computer line that includes the C340/C440/C540/C345/C445. The series supports up to 2TB of storage space, up to 8 GB of memory and all have integrated 720p HD resolution web cams. The series runs Windows 8 and has Dolby Advanced Audio.
The main difference between the computer models in the series comes in screen size with the C340/345 offering a 20-inch screen, the C440/C445 offering it to 21.5-inch screen, and the C540 sporting a 23-inch display. The machines can be fitted with third-generation Intel Core i3 processors and up to NVIDIA GeForce 615 graphics. The C345 and C445 both use AMD E2 dual core processors and Radeon HD graphics.
Starting prices for the AIO series ranges from $499 to $549 with all models being available in January.
“Lenovo is committed to making PC innovation accessible to all, and the IdeaCentre Q190 and latest C-Series AIOs deliver just that.” said Ouyang Jun, Executive Director and General Manager, IdeaCentre Business Unit. “Whether it’s the subtle, space-saving design of the Q190 that transforms your living room TV or monitor into a home theater, or the sleek look, powerful performance and family friendly features of the C-Series AIOs, Lenovo’s latest desktop PCs are designed to meet the entertainment needs of any household.”

Would make for an interesting Thin client or a computer for that relative that only needs basic functionality.
