Windows 8 seems to be a touchy subject these days... have you taken the plunge?

you obviously haven't even tried it yet. It's much easier to work with than you think. Most things are still there, including the start menu, they just happen to work a little differently than you think.

To get to the start screen, the replacement for the start menu, you go to the same place, the bottom left corner. It just has a smaller, but easier to hit, target than it does in Win 7.

Overall, I got used to it within a day. I like it now.
