Windows 8 seems to be a touchy subject these days... have you taken the plunge?

I upgraded my home machine only becuase it was much cheaper to buy Windows 8 vs Windows 7. I have it skip the Modern UI and go straight to desktop and have a start menu replacement. So overall, I like it, but only because it is similar to Windows 7, but cheaper.
