If Disney now owns the IP, could we FINALLY get another space-flight sim like Tie Fighter? (way before most people were old enough to play games I imagine)

I'm ready for another! I put so many hours into TIE Fighter it still scares me, though I was in middle school when it came out (I'm now in my 30s). It is easily still my all-time favorite flight sim. In fact I just bought the Collector's Edition not too long ago, as I loaned the original (on 3.5" floppies) to someone who never gave them back. I have yet to play any flight sim that is as much fun as TIE Fighter, including the later Star Wars flight sims - XvT, X-Wing Alliance.
Now if I could just get my flight stick to work with DOSBox...
