Microsoft/Nokia/AT&T are going for the throat with Lumia 920 pricing

Is $99 for the Nokia Lumia 920 cheap enough to make you switch to Windows Phone 8?

From what I have read the 920 is carrier locked if you buy the phone from AT&T (on or off contract).

From http://www.dailytech.com/Quick+Note+Nokia+Lumia+92...

Unfortunately, despite the fact that you don't have a contract attached to handset, it is still locked to AT&T's network. So don't even think about trying to run off to T-Mobile or another carrier.

You can still use it in AT&T MVNO's such as Straight Talk, Red Pocket, NET10 etc.
They are cheaper than AT&T but still use its crappy network.
