Microsoft/Nokia/AT&T are going for the throat with Lumia 920 pricing

Is $99 for the Nokia Lumia 920 cheap enough to make you switch to Windows Phone 8?

I wouldn't switch yet

2 reasons:
1. I would not use AT&T under ANY circumstances, period. Verizon or bust.
2. Too invested in the iOS ecosystem. However if iOS continues to stagnate and does not innovate, I can see myself swtiching to WP before I would even consider Android. I think only Windows ecosystem can compete with Apple.

GSM or bust for me :) CDMA technology has never been an interest of mine, and I have always been against a phone company that locks down phones as much as Verizon has in the past (and more than likely still does).

I'll second that one. I'm not going to make some tired argument about the number of apps available on either platform (though iOS is the clear winner there). The issue is that I've already purchased the majority of the apps I want to purchase, and I've done so on the iOS platform.

I'm also not interested in slightly better hardware...that's temporary, and it may or may not hold true in the next handset generation.

That is EXACTLY why apps are important! They lock you into a particular operating system! If you did feel the need to change operating systems, it would be to one which had similar or better apps (for free), which at least suggests it won't be Windows RT (at least for a while anyway).
