UK judges to Apple: "Not good enough!"

Last week, Apple posted a notice on its UK website which indicated that Samsung didn't copy the iPad when it designed the Galaxy Tab family of tablets. Of course, Apple didn't do this out of the kindness of its heart -- it was ordered to do so by a UK court.
In keeping with Apple’s typical demeanor towards its competitors, the notice posted on its website was rather flippant and pointed to how the Samsung tablets weren’t deemed to be as “cool” as the iPad. Apple also pointed out in its notice that it had won judgments against Samsung in both German and U.S. courts.
It appears, however, that UK judges weren't amused by Apple's play on words, and called the Cupertino, California-based company's statements "incorrect" and "untrue".
According to Bloomberg News, the U.K. Court of Appeal in London has ordered Apple to remove the notice from its website within 24 hours to correct the inaccuracies. It also has to post a new, revised version within 48 hours.
“I’m at a loss that a company such as Apple would do this,” said a puzzled Judge Robin Jacob. “That is a plain breach of the order.”
One of Samsung's lawyers, Henry Carr, piled on by starting that Apple's original notice left the “impression that the U.K. court is out of step with other courts” by mentioning the judgments in Apple's favor by German and U.S. courts.

Make Samsung apologize

Regarding this bit about Apple having to apologize in public to Samsung in the UK, Apple should pursue legal course to have Samsung apologize to Apple here in America and wherever Samsung has been found guilty of patent infringement.

I'm sure Samsung would love to issue an apology... in lieu of the $1 billion penalty they got.

I disagree.

In places where Samsung lost the court battle, they are already being punished (fines and possible ban on products) - so, this isn't warranted.

However, wherever Samsung wins, Apple is required to apologize because the lawsuit brought upon Samsung has tarnished Samsung's good name.

At the end of the day, those that do some digging will come to understand that Apple's recent lawsuits against Android manufacturers are just sad attempts at stifling innovation in the mobile space and limiting consumer choice through manipulation of a broken patent system.

Sad really... all because "the world's #1 tech company" is too afraid to compete in a free market.

You seem to believe the Samsung hyperbole. Don't let Samsung or any of their ardent followers deceive you. Samsung does copy the successful trade of other companies, especially American companies. I know what I saw when I first laid eyes on an image of the very first Galaxy S. It was a clear copy of the original and second-style iPhones.

Samsung loyalists refuse to admit it, but that doesn't make the rational rest of the world idiots. It is said that if someone says a lie over and over and over for a long time, that people will begin to follow it and tend to believe it. Not in this case. Samsung and their followers can declare till the end of days that Samsung didn't infringe Apple. It will never be accepted. My attitude several years later from originally seeing the copying of Apple products by Samsung hasn't changed in the slightest. I said then, say now and will continue to say till my last dieing breath that Samsung did and does infringe Apple patents.

It will never be accepted.
Of course it won't, the people that won't accept the COURTS STATING IT DOESN'T infringe, are the AppleTools...

Like you...

Everyone except you and the rest of the AppleTards will accept it and get on with life, while you and the other Appletards will continue to spew your bullshit day in and day out.

I know what I saw when I first laid eyes on an image of the very first Galaxy S. It was a clear copy of the original and second-style iPhones.
Get your eyes checked then.
